Child Friendly School

In principle, all CFS programmes being undertaken in Asian countries recognize these five dimensions as necessary and mutually reinforcing conditions of CFS success. A school is Child-Friendly where all the elements are being addressed and the ability to be Child-Friendly on each dimension is enhanced by action on the others. Some schools will find certain dimensions easier to address than other dimensions and so in any one school each dimension may not be as advanced as another. This is not necessarily a problem in itself as long as the school works to address all dimensions and to develop each dimension in a way that balances and reinforces the others.
